This course covers the application and maintenance of gear trains, belt and chain drives, shaft coupling and clutches, and bearing drives in an industrial setting.

Demonstrate an understanding of torque, power, speed, friction, work and force in power transmission systems.
Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical drive systems.
Demonstrate proper lubrication practices in mechanical power transmission systems.
