Course Description:
Introduction to Desktop Publishing acquaints the student with the desktop publishing capabilities of a word processing program. Students are given the opportunity to develop competence in creating, designing, and formatting business documents

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:

Evaluate design elements in a desktop published document for the appropriate use of focus, balance, proportion, contrast, directional flow, consistency, color, and page layout.
Produce business documents for both internal and external use.
