Course Description:
This course provides a high-level overview of human anatomy and physiology that will provide students with a basic knowledge of the structure and functions of the human body to assist with performance in the barbering field.

  1. Define and explain the importance of anatomy, physiology, and histology to the barbering profession.
  2. Describe cells, their structure, and their reproduction.
  3. Identify and define the types of tissues found in the body.
