Prerequisites: CITC 1302 - Introduction to Networking
Course Description:
This course designed to enable students to understand and work with network media and topologies, protocols and standards, network implementation and support. This course will help prepare students for the CompTIA Network+ Certification.
Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:
- Differentiate between Peer-to-Peer and Server Based Networks.
- Identify the seven layers of the OSI model.
- Discuss the major networking topologies.
- Identify common network communication devices.
- Troubleshoot basic networking problems.
