Course Description:
The objective of this course is to help the student develop some facility in the use of graphics editing software and graphics creation software. The course will cover the basic concepts in image development and graphics manipulation.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:

Create raster or vector images.
Manipulate or modify a digital image
Use of Layers and Masks within the context of modifying a digital image.
Use selection tools to modify a digital image.
Incorporate and modify text or vector drawings on a digital image.
Apply a filter or an effect to a digital image as well as how to add plug-ins to digital imaging software.
Fix, restore or improve the quality of a digital image using basic editing tools
