Course Description:
This course is designed to introduce students to medical terminology used in the animal science field. Students will also attain the necessary mathematical skills to accurately prepare and dispense medical prescriptions in a veterinary office. Romich Application is also introduced to students within the course.

    1. Prefix, roots, suffix
  2. Construct Medical Terms from definitions exercise
  3. Use Medical Terms to describe medical conditions of major body systems
  4. Use of Anatomical Terms and Directional Terms
  5. Common name for animals and animal parts
  6. Practice using veterinary medical terms
