Course Description:
This course covers basic theories, safety, and refrigeration procedures. This course covers refrigeration tools, piping, and components. Also included in this course will be procedural for the recovery, evacuation, and charging of refrigeration systems.

- Identify tools and equipment used in working with refrigerants
- Demonstrate the correct use of refrigerant manifold and gauges including calibration of gauges
- Demonstrate leak detection methods
- Demonstrate recovery, evacuation, and charging techniques
- Demonstrate refrigerant pipe bending, swaging, and brazing
- Size, layout, and install refrigerant piping
