Course Description:
Studies drugs and other substances used in veterinary medicine. Emphasizes drug usage, client education, measurement, administration, inventory and safe storage. Also covers humane endpoints of animals. Entails what methods are acceptable, acceptable with conditions or unacceptable.

  5. Prepare medications
  6. Differentiate between abnormal and normal response to medication
  7. Explain appropriate routes and methods of drug administration
