Course Description:
Orientation and Safety will discuss the purpose of this course and what is required to master the subject matter and the rules of safety for the classroom and other area of the facility. Each student will receive a course

Course Competencies:
- Familiarize the student with the rules and regulations of a technical college and how it operates under the direction of the Tennessee Board of Regents
- Familiarize the student with the rules and regulations of the Health Information Management Technology Program
- Familiarize the student with the safety aspects of working with office equipment, computers and peripheral devices
- Familiarize the student with the safety aspects of the Technology Center campus
