Course Description:
Blueprint Reading for IEM introduces reading and interpreting blueprints with a focus on reviewing common elements and the differences between types of drawings. Introduces symbols for electronics, electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Recognize the most common type symbols found in general Electrical, Mechanical, Fluid power prints.
- Locate components in print set using index pages.
- Follow basic logic in electrical/fluid power prints.
