Course Description:
This module explains how couplings are installed and aligned, and introduces some of the mounting systems used for various couplings.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Course Competencies:

  • Identify and explain coupling types.
  • Install an interference coupling.
  • Install a slip fit coupling.
  • Remove couplings using either the manual or hydraulic method.
