RESP 2339 - Introduction to Clinical - 2

Prerequisites: Successful advancement from the previous semester.
Course Description: Introduction to Clinical - 2 is an application of topics presented in previous and current Respiratory Care courses. Competence is to be obtained in arterial blood sampling and airway care. 24 hr. Clinical/wk.
Student Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to:
- Correctly and safely perform an arterial puncture.
- Correctly and safely suction a patient via an artificial airway.
