Course Description:
This course provides students instruction of haircutting and haircare services through the practical application using manikins and clients.
Student Learning Outcomes:
The Practice of Barbering
- Demonstrate the proper handling of clippers and outliners.
- Demonstrate the use of clipper over comb haircutting.
- Demonstrate the use of freehand clipper cutting.
- Demonstrate the arching technique with outliners.
- Demonstrate a basic taper cut.
- Demonstrate a basic crew cut.
- Demonstrate a basic flat-top.
