Course Description:
Piping and Auxiliaries as applied to industrial electrical/electromechanical applications.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:

  1. Select, fabricate, and install gaskets; threaded and welded pipe; automatic and manual valves; industrial hoses and tubing; etc. for specific applications.
  2. Interpret isometric piping sketches and symbols.
  3. Apply methods of sealing in positive displacement pumps and connect to a drive mechanism.
  4. Demonstrate application and troubleshooting techniques as related to an industrial environment.
