EMCH 2406 - National Electric Code Interpretations II

Prerequisites: EMCH 1406 - National Electric Code Interpretations I  

Course Description:
National Electric Code Interpretations II as applied to industrial electrical/electromechanical applications.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:

  1. Calculate conductor parameters, pull box, conduit fill and bending requirements. 
  2. Install electrical circuits, conductors, and equipment meeting appropriate NEC requirements related to specific applications. 
  3. Demonstrate electrical safety per NFPA 70E, OSHA lock out and tag out procedure, and the proper use of PPE. Understand and practice appropriate safety procedures found in a variety of industrial environments.
