METC 1343 - Industrial & Commercial HVAC Systems


Prerequisites: METC 1340 - HVAC I: Intro to HVAC/Refrigeration  -HVAC I or Permission of Instructor

Course Description:
An introduction to Industrial and Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Systems.  Energy management systems, electrical drives, and industrial safety practices. 

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:

 

Competency 1: Explain energy management systems.

Competency 2: Compare and contrast various closed loop HVAC/Refrigeration Systems.

Competency 3: Demonstrate various applications of electrical drives with an HVAC/Refrigeration System.
