ARCT 2320 - Interior Design



Credit hours: 3

Prerequisites: ARCT 1200 - Residential Design and Construction  

Course Description:
An introduction into the principles and practice of interior design with emphasis on its impact on the built environment. Topics include the use of annotations and legends; entourage; creating plans, elevations, section views; the use of finish schedules; interior perspectives and isometric views; detailing, the role of lighting and  acoustics; and color renderings 

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:

  1. Understand the integration of Interior design into the architectural design process
  2. Produce interior design documents
  3. Assemble an interior finish materials sample board.
