Course Description:
This course is an in-depth study of selected topic(s) in the hotel, restaurant, culinary, and tourism industries. It is designed to reinforce and further develop basic knowledge and skills gained in earlier courses.

Explain the elements of the hospitality industry
Discuss current issues facing food service; discuss current guest needs; and explain general hotel/motel operations.
Explain and discuss the role of service in the hospitality industry.
