Course Description:
This course will provide the skills necessary to understand the fundamentals of Global Positioning Systems and their applications in the world of construction and field surveys.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:

Understand the basic operation of the GPS system, including code and carrier phase GPS techniques.
Use and understand Mission Planning software.
Perform static, rapid static, kinematic and RTK surveys with GPS equipment.
Execute various vertical and horizontal survey adjustments.
