Program Description: 

The Millwright Skills program is 12 months of training consisting of classroom and “hands-on” learning experiences in the installation, alignment, and maintenance of all types of industrial equipment and machinery, using the latest technologies in troubleshooting, alignment, leveling and repairing. Instruction is given in blueprint reading, welding, industrial electricity, lubrication, pipefitting, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning in order to give the student multiple craft skills. 

Program Outcomes: 

At the completion of the diploma in the Millwright Skills program, the graduate will be able to:

  • Acquire employment and develop a career in the construction/ maintenance fields  
  • Perform troubleshooting on industrial equipment/machinery 
  • Align industrial equipment/machinery 
  • Level industrial equipment/machinery 
  • Repair industrial equipment/machinery 
  • Read Blueprints 
  • Perform welding skills 
  • Lubricate industrial equipment/machinery
