Course Description:
This course focuses on manufacturing processes and provides an overview of the production cycle from planning to shipping.
Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:
- Describe and categorize the basic properties of raw materials used in manufacturing.
- Recommend basic manufacturing equipment and manufacturing operations to be applied to individual process steps.
- Develop lists of basic process steps used in converting various raw materials into finished goods.
