ENST 2353 - Root Cause Analysis
Credit hours: 3
Course Description: A study in using statistical methods for the purpose of identifying and correcting problems in industrial processes.
Student Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to:
- Apply a systematic approach to statistical problem solving.
- Use various statistical quality tools to separate the many process inputs that do not affect the process output from those that do.
- Demonstrate the ability to statistically evaluate the identified few critical process inputs to arrive at the root cause of problems.
