BUSN 2310 - Business Statistics
Credit hours: 3
Prerequisites: Eligibility for college-level mathematics
Course Description: This course examines basic statistical theories, concepts, and techniques and there applications in business.
Student Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to:
- Develop for business use an understanding of various descriptive and inferential statistics in decision making.
- Calculate probabilities under varying conditions, including the use of discrete and continuous probability distributions.
- Use measures of central tendency and dispersion from samples to estimate the characteristics of a population and conduct various hypothesis tests.
