Course Description:
An introduction to the safety, health, and environment issues within the process control industry. Topics include the roles and responsibilities of Process Technicians, the environment in which they work, and the equipment and systems in which they operate.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:

Identify the safety, health and environmental issues associated with industry.
Demonstrate the ability to solve basic construction math questions regarding real numbers and interpret basic construction blueprints.
Identify and demonstrate proper hand and power tool safety and usage.
Determine and perform basic employability and communication skills related to industry.
