Prerequisites: IPCT 1330 - Electrical I
Industry Certifications Level Two Certification for NCCER Electrical Training
Course Description: Topics include alternating current, electrical motors and lighting, conduit bending, pull and junction boxes, conductor installations and terminations, cable trays, grounding and bonding, circuit breakers and fuses, control systems and fundamental concepts.
Student Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to:
- Identify and demonstrate safe practices and practical skills involved in the electrical field.
- Solve AC circuits in construction drawings through calculation and theory
- Identify trade terms, applications, and control systems
- Identify and apply the National Electrical Code and its applications
- Demonstrate the safe and proper selection and termination of electrical conductors
