This course examines principles and practices reviewed and evaluated including investment strategy, ownership forms, tax implications, cash flow analysis, measures of return, risk management, and property selection.

Apply the mechanics of investment analysis and decision-making process as it relates to real estate.
Explain how income tax impacts a real estate investment decision.
Explain how different forms of financing impact the success of a real estate investment project.
Calculate the time value of money concepts as they are applied in real estate investment and the different measures of investment performance.
Complete a real estate investment analysis project and operate software used in commercial real estate.
