Course Description:
sUAS Mechanics of Flight is an introduction to aerodynamics, history of aviation, unmanned aircraft propulsion systems, and guidance and control systems.
Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:
- Understand basic aerodynamics.
- Recall major milestones in the history of aviation.
- Understand general aircraft propulsion systems.
- Understand the classifications of airspace and be able to identify them on an aviation sectional chart.
- Understand basic guidance navigation systems.
