Course Description:
Power Plant Fundamentals VIII will cover the various documents required to perform an engine inspection. One of the major functions of an aviation maintenance technician is to locate potential problems before they cause a power plant failure.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:

1. Conduct a routine inspection of an installed reciprocating or turbine power 
2. Locate all of the applicable Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins 
3. Demonstrate the ability to interpret trend analysis data 
4. Demonstrate the ability to properly document the results of the inspection
