REF 1011 - Reflexology Skills and Practice- Hands-on

Course Description:
Learn and understand the palpation of the foot, palpation of the hand, hands-on foot techniques, hands-on hand techniques. Participate in supervised in-class practicum and reflexology student clinic. 

Student Learning Outcomes:

  • Demonstrate and describe each of the primary methods based on mechanical force application with appropriate variations in depth of pressure, drag, direction, speed, and duration. 

  • Demonstrate the ability to interview a client and then perform a reflexology session based on the client’s needs. 

  • Demonstrate the knowledge of the foot and hand maps of the reflexology points. 

  • Demonstrate the knowledge of a full hour foot reflexology session on a client.
