Course Description:
Under the supervision of an experienced phlebotomist, students will put into practice the training learned in the classroom at area locations contracted by the College.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will work directly with patients in an inpatient or outpatient setting putting into practice all aspects of the curriculum completed in AHM 1030 to collect samples using proper technique, proper identification methods, and proper communication with staff. Students will apply their classroom knowledge to real-world experiences in a clinical setting.
