Course Description:
This course will provide the proper operational procedures for forklifts and fundamental safety practices and procedures.

Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Name the appropriate uses for different types of forklifts
  2. Explain the importance of forklift stability
  3. Describe operational procedures for forklifts, including load handling
  4. Prevent forklift accidents through safety procedures and practices
  5. State the importance of regular forklift inspections and maintenance
  6. List OSHA and government resources that support worker safety
