Course Description: This course is designed to prepare the student to develop skills in exercising good judgment, independent action, providing quality customer service, and coping with interruptions. Additionally, students will learn the concepts of ethics in working in the hospitality and tourism industry. Students will learn the principles, procedures, and regulations involving confidentiality, ethical relationships among workers and guests as well as current ethical issues and risk management as they relate to industry.
