Course Description:
In this course students will be placed in a full-time or part-time work-based learning experience in a local processing facility or retail meat setting. Students will focus on implementing their mastery skills in the workplace and positively contributing to the culture and successful operation of a modern processing facility or retail facility.

Student Learning Outcomes:

Demonstrate and understand the correct implementation of processing facility operations.

Use appropriate communication skills to work alongside meat processing professionals successfully.

Demonstrate professionalism and communication skills in the processing and customer service environment.

Demonstrate appropriate facility policy and procedures.

Adhere to USDA guidelines.

Complete reports and duties as assigned correctly.
