IMR 4160 - Electric Motors
Clock Hours: 45
Delivery Mode on-ground
Course Description: Students learn the various types of Motors used in HVAC/R systems and their construction. Students will explore the electrical and mechanical conditions that motors operate and the efficiency of different types of electrical motors. Students will learn troubleshooting techniques to identify problems with electrical motors in relation to their identification plate and readings from instruments. Students will learn to follow electrical wiring diagrams for proper identification of components used in HVAC/R applications.
