Course Description: This subject provides instruction in the cleaning, disassembly, inspection, repair, and re-assembly of gas turbine engines. The student will learn to identify engine instruments. The student will receive instruction on using reference materials such as, manufacturers, maintenance manuals, Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and advisory circulars. The student will also receive instructions on QECA and turbine engine removal and replacement, rigging plus adjustments. The student will also study preservation and storage of engines.
