Prerequisites: Two of MECH 1310 - Electrical Components, MECH 1320 - Mechanical Components & Electric Motors, MECH 1330 - Electro-Pneumatic and Hydraulic Control Circuits, or MECH 1340 - Digital Fundamentals and PLCs

Course Description:
Students will engage in a project with an employer in an advanced manufacturing setting. As part of this project, students will be engaged in analysis and operation of mechatronic systems.

Upon completion of this course, students will demonstrate the ability to:

Describe the interplay of components of a mechatronics system in the context of an advanced manufacturing system.
Apply safety rules as dictated by the collaborating employer.
