CIVT 2550 - Advanced Surveying

Course Description:
This course is a continuation of the concepts and practices of surveying. Surveying equipment such as theodolites, electronic distance-measuring equipment, global positioning system and robotic total station.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to:

Demonstrate proper techniques for traversing, compute area, and creating a topographic map.
Explain legal and ethical aspects of surveying.
Demonstrate competency in the use of surveying equipment for the collection of data.
