Course Description: In this course, students will develop skills to create animations. Students will create computer generated animations in a variety of techniques including hand-drawn conceptualization, storyboarding, 3D animation, and stop-motion. Students will create and manipulate graphics, text, and effects for web graphics.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Create elements, symbols, and basic text.
- Import bitmap and vector images onto the stage.
- Edit the properties of an element.
- Implement the use of storyboarding and animatics.
- Add keyframes to a composition to animate an element.
- Integrate sound, graphics, and video.
- Create motion tweens and shape tweens.
- Edit the duration of an animation or composition.
- Create fades and eases.
- Create rollover effects and clickable buttons.
- Publish a composition as a swf, mov, mp4, etc.
