Course Description:
In this course, students will develop skills to create animations. Students will create computer generated animations in a variety of techniques including hand-drawn conceptualization, storyboarding, 3D animation, and stop-motion. Students will create and manipulate graphics, text, and effects for web graphics.

Student Learning Outcomes:

Create elements, symbols, and basic text.
Import bitmap and vector images onto the stage.
Edit the properties of an element.
Implement the use of storyboarding and animatics.
Add keyframes to a composition to animate an element.
Integrate sound, graphics, and video.
Create motion tweens and shape tweens.
Edit the duration of an animation or composition.
Create fades and eases.
Create rollover effects and clickable buttons.
Publish a composition as a swf, mov, mp4, etc.
