Course Description: An overview of the fundamental concepts and tools for financial decision making within a business firm. Prerequisites: Level 2 Placement in English, Math and Reading.
Student Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to:
- Apply basic math skills to calculate interest, payroll, rate of change, discounts, markup, pricing, and gross margin, and net margin.
- Identify the interrelationships among standard financial reports.
- Interpret and analyze financial information to make business decisions.
