Program Description:
Medical Informatics is the interdisciplinary study of the design, development, adoption and application of IT-based innovations in healthcare services delivery, management and planning. This program will provide a pathway for students who are interested in a career in Medical Informatics as either a technician or developer.

- Use computer applications to assemble and analyze patient data for the purpose of improving patient care or controlling costs.
- Create and maintain database management systems applicable to healthcare.
- Demonstrate knowledge of state, and federal laws regarding the management of
