Program Description: The mission of the program is to equip the student with a background of knowledge and skills in the use of equipment and maintenance/repair procedures utilized in the Forestry and Agricultural industry.  The skilled student would be able to gain an entry position into the forestry and agricultural industry.  The program would provide technical instruction and skill development for the student to become knowledgeable as a forestry worker, agricultural technician or operator of equipment. This course is to provide trainees with a thorough understanding of the methods of forest product, harvesting timber, protecting forests, agriculture, agri-business, soil science, basic electricity, maintenance and repairing machinery equipment, welding, basic sawmill operation and heavy equipment operation. Training would also include safety of equipment and equipment operation and specifications.

Program Outcomes: Upon completion of a diploma in Forestry and Ag Technology.  Graduates will be skilled in entry-level forestry and agriculture technology, safety, computer skills, soil science, agri-business, machinery management and maintenance skills, welding, electricity and shop skills, and sawmill operation.  Graduates will be trained and skilled to begin a career in the forestry and agriculture industry.
