Program Description:
The Industrial Maintenance Technician program is designed to help meet the identified need for trained and skilled maintenance technicians. Incorporating classroom instruction and shop learning experience utilizing actual equipment and/or related training devices, the IMT program is designed in its entirely for the technology student who is preparing for a career in industry. Students will select two of the four elective programs of study in which they will spend one trimester (432 hours) per elective.
Program Outcomes:
After acquiring the Industrial Maintenance Apprentice Certificate, Industrial Maintenance Apprentice II Certificate, and successful completion of two electives, students will earn their Industrial Maintenance Technician Diploma.
