ENST 1352 - Industrial Science
Credit hours: 3
Course Description: A study of the basic concepts encountered in the field of engineering technology.
Student Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to:
- Apply equations of static equilibrium to determine forces acting on objects at rest and relate this to laboratory experiments.
- Complete calculations on moving objects to determine the forces or state of motion and apply to laboratory experiments.
- Comprehend the various properties of incompressible fluids, understand how pressure and velocity are affected by changes in the elevation and flow area, and use these concepts to complete laboratory experiments.
- Grasp the basic concepts of electricity and magnetism and apply these skills in laboratory applications.
- Analyze a set of laboratory instructions and complete the tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
