ENST 2382 - Fundamentals of Mechatronics
Credit hours: 3
Course Description: Automation systems that include a focus on mechanics, electrical, fluid power systems, computer systems, and the integration of such to achieve machine movement control, integration of robotics, and computer networking to develop a comprehensive and cohesive production sequence.
Student Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to:
- Explain the basic operation of each station of a mechanized production system.
- Program PLC equipment to control the various stages of a mechanized production system.
- Troubleshoot a mechanized production system.
