LEGL 1301 - Legal Ethics and Professionalism

Course Description:
Students study the Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct, the unauthorized practice of law, confidentiality, and the various roles a paralegal play in a law office.

Demonstrate understanding of the unauthorized practice of law.
Demonstrate understanding of client confidentiality.
Demonstrate understanding of the principles of conflict of interest.
Demonstrate understanding of the principles related to attorneys’ fees.
