Course Description:
This course provides the instruction of advanced hairstyling services. Students demonstrate skills learned through practical applications, using manikins and clients.
Student Learning Outcomes:
Advanced Barbering Services
- Demonstrate some roller sets.
- Demonstrate some pin curls.
- Demonstrate blow-dry styling; freeform, stylized and diffused.
- Demonstrate on-base, half off-base, and off-base thermal styling.
- Demonstrate hair wrapping and molding.
- Demonstrate thermal straightening.
- Demonstrate the use of a flat iron.
