Course Description: Topics include feeder and service calculations, health care facilities, emergency systems, electronic theory, fire alarm systems, advanced and HVAC controls, motor operations and maintenance, and fundamentals of crew leadership.
Student Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to:
- Assess, identify and apply proper NEC requirements concerning feeder and service calculations
- Identify and evaluate commercial electrical services, motor calculation, and code requirements
- Identify applications for health care facilities
- Assess and demonstrate trouble shooting techniques involving motor operations
- Understand and describe proper crew leadership techniques
