CITC 2326 - Network Security

Course Description: This course is designed to give students a fundamental understanding of computer and network security. It will introduce students to a wide variety of concepts related to computer security. This course will cover the objectives for the CompTIA Security+ Certification.
Student Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to:
- Identify risk and participate in risk mitigation activities.
- Provide infrastructure, application, information, and operational security.
- Apply security controls to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and identify appropriate technologies and products.
- Troubleshoot security events and incidents.
- Define applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
