CES 1040 - Introduction to Restaurant Industry

Course Description:
This course will provide the student with a comprehensive understanding of the restaurant environment. Each student will experience all aspects of working in a restaurant and performing a la carte dining service. Various topics are covered, including table service and wine, coffee and tea service.

  • The student will gain hands-on experience in a simulated restaurant environment.
  • The student will Master various table service techniques.
  • The student demonstrates a knowledge of beverage service.
