AAT 1030 - Keyboarding

Course Description:
This course is designed for the beginning student or to enhance skills for the developed student. The major objectives are to develop touch control of the keyboard and proper keyboarding techniques, and to build basic speed and accuracy.  

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will: 

 

  • Identify keys and functions of the keyboard. 

  • Demonstrate proper keyboarding techniques. 

  • Demonstrate an acceptable level of keyboarding skills through words per minute abilities and outcomes.  

  • Perform calculations on an electric calculator/ computer keypad.
